Creativity, color and texture are my inspiration
with a sprinkle of bling in all my work.
This website is dedicated to my crazy creativity and inspired art. Here you can find my latest nuno felted and knit felt creations, along with some of my other interests, .i.e., painting, weaving and spinning.
History of Felting
Felting originated in Central Asia in the 1st century, AD, most likely in Mongolia Felting, an ancient technique allows, for unlimited freedom in the creative process and color pallet. Nuno felting (“nuno” meaning cloth in Japanese) was discovered in 1992 by Australian artist, Polly Sterling. It is also known as “laminated felting” in Northern Europe, a similar process. Nuno felting is the process of wet felting wool thru an open-weave fabric, such as silk or gauze.
